We are organizing the Software Engineering (SE) conference 2026 here in Bern! It will take place from 23rd - 27th February 2026 in various locations around the city. The main conference will be held at the Wankdorf Stadium.
The Software Engineering (SE) conference of the Software Engineering Division (SWT) of the German Informatics Society (GI) is the reference conference series on Software Engineering in the German-speaking regions of Europe with an established record of engaging with Academia and Industry. It is held annually, and it serves as a platform for both software engineers from industry and researchers from academia to share their experiences and knowledge and to foster community building.

We are very happy to announce that we are hosting the 18th International Working Conference on Variability Modelling of Software-Intensive Systems (VaMoS 2024). The VaMoS conferences aim at bringing together “researchers and practitioners to share ideas, results and experiences about their quest for mastering variability”. Prof. Dr. Timo Kehrer serves as general chair and will organize the conference together with his team and further renown researchers on variability modeling of software-intensive systems. The conference will take place in the buildings of the university from February 7th to 9th, 2024.
