About
The NFDIxCS consortium aims to build a standardized infrastructure for managing and sharing complex computer science research data and software in line with FAIR principles. Central to this effort are reusable Research Data Management Containers that bundle data, metadata, software, and execution context in a standardized way. NFDIxCS promotes FAIR data practices, improved citation of software and data, and the development of accepted standards for sustainable storage and access. It also supports data-intensive CS methods such as AI, ML, and HPC, and shares the CS community’s expertise in architectures, interoperability, and data-oriented scientific communication with other scientific disciplines.
