Context
Healthcare professionals often face high-pressure situations, such as managing frightened children during clinical procedures. A supplementary mobile trivia game provides an accessible way for residents to review key knowledge.
Motivation
This project is an extension of our VR-based training platform designed to enhance physician-patient interactions in critical situations. In this mobile game it aims to reinforce VR-delivered training by providing quick, engaging, and interactive quizzes that healthcare professionals can use to review critical concepts and decision-making skills.
Goal
Develop a mobile app using Unity game engine, focusing on scenario-based questions, video-based questions, key communication strategies, and stress management techniques for dealing with frightened children. The app should allow easy uploading of new questions via Excel files, ensuring flexibility in content updates.
Key features of the envisioned app:
- Multiplayer functionality: Enabling multiple healthcare professionals to engage in quiz sessions simultaneously, fostering collaborative learning and a bit competitive.
- Support for various question types: The platform should accommodate different formats, such as multiple-choice, video-based, and scenario-driven questions, ensuring a dynamic learning experience.
- Customization for medical residents: The app’s design, content, and assets should be tailored specifically for medical professionals aligning with their training needs.
