Short Bio

After several years of working in industry, I started at SEG in November 2022 as a teaching and research assistant. After assisting in  Programming 2 and being involved in course preparations for both  Compiler Construction and  Software Engineering, my focus shifted to research and organisational work for the group.

Research Activities

I take part in ongoing research efforts in the context of the research project  Merge++. In said context, I completed my Bachelor’s Thesis in 2023 and subsequently published my first paper  Towards Semi-Automated Merge Conflict Resolution: Is It Easier Than We Expected? based on that work at  EASE 2024.

Web Master

In addition to my research activities, I am SEG’s web master. I am in charge of the  group’s website, and I am the Web Chair of the  International Software Engineering Winter School on Hybrid and Generative Intelligence and, more recently, of the  Software Engineering 2026 conference, which will take place in February 2026 here in Bern.

Other Activities

I volunteered at  ICST 2025 in March 2025.

Apart from my work, I am a Master Student enrolled in the  JMCS Study Program.
